Last Sunday I was able to watch the wedding virtually with my honey Rick….

Neither of us had any dressy clothes. We buy for events and not thinking we were going Rick had an easier time looking dressed for the video than I did! lol
No worries…. we were watching from my son’s phone on zoom chat and we were all shut off to give the wedding the big picture ๐
Today the loving couple is enjoying a delayed honeymoon! They went to Mexico ๐

They are such a beautiful couple and had such an elegant event!

Meanwhile I got back to stitching on this quilt…

I made my way from one side to the other and back again…. stellar week!
My honey had an idea to use this tobacco basket we used on the wall in our previous house….

This is on our screened back porch that looks out over woods behind our home…
Hopefully the above photos show you we bought a hanging lamp at the big box home improvement store and added it center of the basket we hung with chains…. His ideas ROCK!
I won a giveaway for participating in fun games in a facebook group…

The link above will open in a new tab… so you don’t lose your place here ๐ There are lots of step by step youtube tutorials for application help… but this rubbery base coat is the bomb diggity ๐
Finally… a valance I made way on back… 2015 maybe??? Came back to roost.
It is my design and used to hang in my sewing room in Florida… my bestie then took it and hung it over her shower as I have… which gave me the idea for this… LOVELY!

It is machine quilted and finished with hand quilting on the top and bottom ๐
I did see a knee surgeon this week… but he is referring me to a specialist in Asheville for my knee surgeries needed.
We have had a busy and productive week. I am linking all this handy work to Kathy’s Slow Sunday Stitching…. HERE <<<< come see what all the stitcher’s are linking up and link up yourself if you stitch and have virtual pics of your work to share ๐

What a beautiful photo of the bride and groom. Your quilting is looking great. I love the tobacco basket idea. I always like to find new uses for items. That valance on the shower is a great idea. Congrats on the Color Street win.

glad you were able to watch your son’s wedding – the bride is so pretty and such a beautiful dress she had and the roses on the table! wow.
Good idea for the porch light – a little here and there and it will be done and you will be enjoying time on your porch – hope your knee surgery can get started soon you have needed it for years now so you can begin to get around again!
